holy crap. glad this thing wasn't lost in a fire. was this out at prairie city? I was just on the website and didn't see a location of the event. I'm near sacramento too but I've never heard about stampede
Ya, the crew out there was on top of it...no issues with the fire. It just took us out of the prelims early, but we were up and running in an hour or two.
But yes, this was in Prairie City. I am not sure where you looked, but it is shown here. The third listing in the red block. I believe they have held the stampede there before, but maybe the places youve been looking use a different name...im not sure :confused

It is also shown over on the ultra4 website

ah sick. I should've dropped by and checked it out if it wasn't 105* last weekend. whens the next race? I'm wanting to enter my jeep in a wanna-be amateur race there or something. can't wait to see if they'll let my heep into the junker class lol
Definitely look into it...itd be a lot of fun. Just find the requirements/rules to see what itd take to get you racing.

I know I can't make it into stock mod, I'm running 37's, trimmed fenders, trimmed rockers/doors, cut quarter panels, cut floors etc. I'm going to install a DOM cage and I think they'll let me enter the cash for clunkers race or something lol
Are you talking about the ultra4 rules/series? Or is there a separate "series" up there you are looking into?
Thanks Brother!
Here is raw footage of the whole race also. I will eventually put together a highlights clip for those that dont feel like watching 30 minutes of race

We have Glen Helen coming up in about two weeks. Do any of you have plans to come out? Stop by and say hi!
We have a new package we are waiting on...hopefully its contents will make us more competitive both at hammers and through our short course races.

Well guys...WE DID IT! Poor Boy Racing had it's first official podium finish last weekend. We placed 3rd at Glen Helen in the Stock Class. What is even more exciting is that we managed to pull it off without the new mods! Hopefully that means the future will just be better.
To top things off, we found out that the Nationals for the Ultra4 Series is going to be held in Ridgecrest, CA...HOME of the Poor Boys!
I will see if I can get some pics posted up later for you guys.
