As for the brake booster, if I remember right I got the 96 brake booster. I blew my old one when I had to stop really fast coming down a mountain. (If broke, upgrade) so in went the bigger and newer one.
And for how I am liking it, I love it! Works great and stops so much better. I have 35s and it has no problem quickly stopping my rig. I also have rear disc brakes instead of drum. That helps out also. If I really stomp on it my rear tires will lock up a little. Thats on dry paved roads with some weight.
If your debating on if you should do this upgrade or not, im saying its well worth it. Never know when bambi is gunna jump out infront of you or worse a little kid or even a women driver texting and driving.

Thank you. Still have to put my lights on and wire it. But im really liking how its all turned out. Once I get a chance I will put my gear up also so everyone can see how it works and how I will haul my stuff. Frees up so much room in the back. Makes it more top heavy loaded up. But im not planning on wheeling loaded. Get to a camp site and set up, then hit the trails.

I just extended my basket a foot so it can fit my snowboard and gear for the winter. In the spring I would love to build a rack like yours. Looks killer

Having roof racks help out a lot. I looked around for a long time trying to find the perfect one. They were either too expensive or didnt do what I wanted it to. I saw some that had about 4-5" between the rack and roof. Putting the weight that much higher. I didnt like those at all. I eventually found this one and it ended up being a custom rack from stitch here on CF. After some time I had a neighbor drive by while I was working on the jeep. He said he fabricates. I had already talked to stitch about how he did his so we set the wheels in motion as soon as possible.

Update:
I did the oil filter adapter delete mod. Took the OF adapter off and ran the oil filter directly to the block. Now it's not upside down. I originally did this due to the O-rings being shot and leaking lots of oil. But also doubles as making the filter change easier during oil changes.
The rack has been doin great. Haven't had a chance to really test it out yet. Been wheeln a little bit and the weight doesnt really seem to effect the Jeep too much. I've mounted the side and rear lights but still haven't wired them in. Also with the roof rack, DONT ever use Rustoleum undercoating. I used this stuff on my wheel wells and it came out great. However when I used it on the rack it came out terrible. I dont know if I used the "professional grade" before and thats why it came out. But this time I got the regular cheaper stuff. reason being, I only saw there was a different spray nozzle on the cans and one could shoot upside down.(maybe that was the difference in cans also, one worked and the other didnt) my rack is now tacky and never really seemed to dry. The paint also scrapes and scares super easy. Not too happy about that.
Also on my last trip my clutch slave cylinder went out on me. Leaked fluid everywhere. I had to drive some 200+ miles with no clutch. After floating gears the whole way and turning off the Jeep then starting while in gear so many times, I think I messed it up even more. I knew I would be swapping trani's out one day. Just didnt think this soon. Reason I'm swapping rather than fixing is I don't want to put money into something I'll be ditching. With all this said, I have picked up a spare engine that I plan to stroke to a 4.7 along with upgrade other components on the engine. When I install that I plan on slapping on another trani. So far I've been lookn into the SM465 trani. if anyone has any input or might have one laying around I can buy off you, please jump in.

I paid my neighbor 700 to make it. I dont have a welder or bender so I had someone do it for me. I haven't used it yet. I still need to order a light bar and the switches I want. But all that has been put on hold till I get another 5 speed to drop in it.
