First things first, this will pretty much just be a restoration project (for now).
It's a 1992, 2wd, 4.0, 5 speed with a long bed. It's got 176,000 miles and runs great.

My plans for right now:
-Get it back to stock hight (it's lowered 2-2.5")
-Fix all rust- bumper, spot on back of bed, floor, rear bottom part of rockers
-703 injectors
-Get gauges to work properly or just get new ones
-Upgrade sound system
-Maybe a cowl intake. It already has a "cold" air intake on it, so I figure I'll just sell that and do it properly
-Remove bed cover
Eventually:
-HID retrofit
-Paint it (probably dark gray)
-Bedline the bed
-Possibly performance upgrades
-Im sure this list will grow with time

Today I changed the oil, took off the fog lights (they didn't work and the wiring was a mess), put my old headlight setup from the Cherokee on it (putco harness with autopal ecodes), and replaced the bumper.
The bumper on it was pitted really bad from the rust so I took the stock bumper from my Cherokee and painted it. It looks 100x better now!

Installed a new radio in the Comanche last night. I guess when I was moving the dash bezel around I broke the line going to the oil pressure gauge. Fast forward to the ride home, I started smelling oil... a lot of it. I go to pull over and my foot slips off the clutch, so I shine some light down there and see this

I fixed the gauge today. Now I get to take the carpet and dash out to clean the mess... such fun
On the plus side, the radio install came out pretty much perfect

Got everything out and cleaned up all the easy to get places. The rest I'll do over the winter. It's gonna take a lot of q-tips and patience haha

And the only major rust spot on the floor

How does that even happen? Dawn dish soap and boiling hot water will be your best friend after this.
Nice looking truck! I found an MJ once... It had bucket seats and a cter console like in a Cherokee. I wish I could have picked it up.
