So we've always had a hinting suspicion that the front locker was malfunctioning. Turning was always a real pain, and it never really seemed to unlock. So we checked it and found that we're missing the thrust washers... yay...
In the picture you can see the pin and spring are not aligned. The clearance is about .005 too much.

So we got the locker all squared away, some .030 washers brought it back in spec and its a whole new vehicle now! The 12.5" tires just melt away and you don't even notice them, as opposed to fighting them the whole time.

Progress has been slow! We went wheeling not last weekend but the weekend before that at Hollister Hills Svra. Lost the upper shock nut and hardware after 30 minutes. Then we went to the obstacle course which was bone dry, theres a large mud puddle there that didnt have a single drop in it. We ate lunch and met up with some guys from a 4x4 shop from our home town. It was only our second time there so we asked them where some good trails might be. They pointed us in the right way and we were off. We stopped at another obstacle course and farted around there dor a bit. I found some puddles hehe. We gathered ourselves and headed off to the trails. But before we could make any progress I noticed my voltage gauge reading less than 12 volts. We farted around at the obstacle course for a bit, let my girlfriend and a good friend of mine who tagged along drive for a bit which they enjoyed before we set off to home. Bout a block from my house my jeep was struggling to get moving so we pushed it till it could maintain speed. It died in my driveway haha.
We only had 3 of 4 flares done on the red, We got that squared away last week with some help from my lovely assistant.
Next on the list is mostly cosmetic, get some undercoating on the parts of the fenders that we cut, pull a dent, redo headliner. Pull the rear bumper so the shackles don't get beat up on the mounting bolts anymore.
Then hopefully a false floor and a rear tire carrier, roof rack and some lights!

Things have been slow. I'm taking Reggie out this weekend for a camping trip at Hollister. Swapped out the cps with a mopar one to try and solve the heat soak issue. I've got some bumpstops that need to go in this week as well.
