Just got my first Jeep. Been having a blast in it.

Thanks-I plan on doing the rough country 3" lift soon. I did some mild wheelin' today and had a blast. Should I stay off the trails with the lift blocks, the springs are not inverted? The blocks measure 2" with new u-bolts.

Do you have extended rear bump stops? You should be fine with the blocks until you get your new lift, but the thing with blocks is if you wheel or flex a lot (without extended bump stops) the spring can "over-extend" over the axle and puts it over its threshold and it ruins them. (like stretching elastic too far and it never goes back to normal)
How soon do you think it will be until you get the new lift?

Definitely take the time to research the different lifts! I researched what I wanted to do for about 7 months! I'm in the process of doing a bastard pack right now. (can't complain when I got the Chevy s-10 springs for FREE!)

Took off the rear sway bar today. Noticed the end of the bar was getting against the tire on both sides. She had to go!

Was out wheeling today and looked over and found this air duct off of some sort of Honda. Might be able to cut it down to use as a cold air duct from the stock air box to between the headlight and radiator.
Decided on the Zone 3" kit to replace the blocks and spacers.

Took her out today--leaf springs took a beating. The blocks have them inverted. That settles it--new springs are a must now. That's cool-didn't wanna mess with the add-a-leafs anyway.

Got some missing vinyl decals installed. Added a reproduction of the hard to find "Only in a Jeep Cherokee" license plate. Used to run a sign shop, still have a small operation out of the garage.
