Well. I might as well make a build thread now that I started cutting stuff. I'm VERY new to the 4wd thing as I came from the tuner side (95 Eclipse GSX and other DSMs) Anyways.. I picked up a stock 96 Cherokee Country for $775 about three weeks ago with 170k miles on it. Bypassed the HCV because it was busted, cut out the battery terminal connectors and replaced those because both had nuts missing and were super corroded. After that it started right up and ran great. Replaced the front pads and rotors and wiper blades and that's about it on the mechanical side. I need a little exhaust work still. Pics from PO Rust hole and dirty interior. Both side windows are busted out. After a bath. HCV Did a cut/fold on fenders. Rear: Front: Cut the rot out of the rear bumper. That's about all I have for right now. Progress will be very slow because 1) I'm not sure where I want to go with it and 2) I work 6 nights a week and play sports on my one day off. Most likely the build will be ~4.5" lift, 33s. Custom bumpers with a roof rack and light bar. Very possible for those plans to change. Enjoy my slow moving thread. -Stubbz
