I'm not entirely confident in how it will do on the racejeep. In a drag situation it should be fine, but when I rally it or autocross it, or just other "spirited driving" I'm worried about the function of the locker in turns, in either hard acceleration or deceleration.
The plan is to pull it for a full carrier swap this winter, but I figured I'd give this a try to see for myself first hand...if it's too bad it will just get put in my 4x4 xj which has the same 8.25

ill get some more pics of the locker install and brake conversion, but I wanted to invite you all out to see the jeep run this weekend. Im Planning on being at PRP raceway outside of Pittsburgh this saturday. I hope to make a few passes. This will be my first time with a locked rear end so should be the fastest times to date.

Pittsburgh Raceway Park correct? I might be tempted to go if I can get my Sprintex Jeep wired up for a trailer and get said trailer by then so I can tow my racejeep there... Would be interesting to see what mine runs and maybe get some side-by-side runs with both our racejeeps. Lol

When I race, 93. I can still run 87 just fine though.
yeah, the torsen is the plan. And im 150% for a racejeep runoff, but unfortunately it looks like it isnt gonna be this weekend, They went and shut the track down early. Im super bummed, spent a bunch of cash just to get some passes in before winter, and now, its all for nothing.....

About 6 hours depending on construction...in a jeep with no radio, sound deadening, heater, and depending on when, solid mounted race seats...doesn't sound pleasant. I'm south east of pitt. Fairmont Morgantown area of WV.
