heres a look at my trans mods. I have the line pressure cable pulled all the way out, then tied off. This keeps the trans at full pressure and makes hard solid shifts everytime. hopefully making the trans have a decent service life.

LOL, yea, thanks. Its meant to just be temporary. I was headed to the track, and wasnt entirely sure if it would work properly. But now that its tried and tested, Ill be looking for a permanent solution.

After thinking about it a little, Im not really sure there is much to do but clean up the connectors and use some wire loom to hide it a bit.

Really? Why not mount the switch somewhere that won't be an eye sore? The shifter would look fine there without it.

because the switch is part of the trans control and needs to be in reach of my arm??

You must have really short arms. I understand what the switch is for but I'd sure have to find a better place for it.

I mean I guess I could mount it on the other side of the hand brake, but it needs to be in close proximity to the shifter. Im not going to try and reach around for it. It needs to be usable with my arm on the center console. Plus I dont have a dash to mount it too anyway...Ill probably just loom it like I said...we'll see

Yeah, I'd want it close by as well. I was thinking right beside the hand brake slot. Since, after all, you'll be yanking the handbrake frequently anyway while drifting.
