Need tips on XJ build
This is what I have so far 87 XJ with D44 rear D30 front I think it has the 241 transfer case havent looked yet. These are the parts I have ready to install old man emu +4.5 coil sprins and shocks used sway bar with quick disconect, rear s-10 springs for basterd pack and s-10 shocks for rear.
My first Q with what I have will I need to replace my front control arms? and what size tires should I be shoping for. also I think I might need some longer shackles for the leaf springs, has anyone used the shacles from the junkyard build list
6. MJ Shackles = 1/2" lift
10. GM fullsize pickup shackles ('95-99) = 1.5" lift, better shackle angle
Thanks for any tips and pointers you pros can provide.

Picked this up for $600, I drove it home runs and drives pretty good . Needs new drums in the rear , hade to replace tps and temp sensore and battery, now it runs like a champ, all it needs is a paint job and a lift with some nice rubber
