I purchased this zj in february 2011 for 3500.



It stayed stock for like a month.
Painted Grill, Cladding and Tail Lights






Then ordered my 3.5in lift kit from rough country.


Got it installed and scored a roof rack for 20 bucks.



Took it offroading with the stock tires



it sat that way for a while due to lack of funds.

3.5in lift sitting on 33s

 

cool man i like the set up whats the future plans ??

 

well right now the next set of plans is 5in springs iron rock long arms. and then in a few months ill be getting an 8.8 and hp30 gearing to 4.56 and lockers. possibly going up to 35s.

 

nice yea im waiting on my five inch coils and custom control arms and i think ill stick to 33s for now

 

yeah i like the 33s. they dont have the best tread on them but hey i got them and the rims in trade for my stock rims and tires.lol

Got some updates. no pictures yet. Truck was in operable for about a month with a blown rear axle. got that fixed. Then scored a trailer hitch for free. scored a new driver seat and headlight switch for 40. and a new grill for free. Hitch is getting mounted this weekend. cutting my front fenders also. also possibly scoring my swap axles for really cheap soon. hp30 and a ford 8.8. both will be re-geared to 4.56 and locked. and ordering a long arm kit from iro in the next 3-4 weeks.

 

Lookin good man always like to see a ZJ build in here its usually all XJs

 

yeah man i love my zj. im starting on part 2 of the build with the axles. part 3 is one tons. and chop top.lol and trailer status.

 

Good looking ZJ. I love the look of a lifted ZJ, can't wait to lift mine
