Oh got ya. I actually ended up pulling off the rear bumper and dropping half inch bolts in from inside the unibody rails. I was able to get an open ended wrench in the slot to the unirail to hold the head of the bolt. It went fairly easy after that.

Finally got my gas tank skid on. Took me forever to do. Had to cut a lot of stuff. Had to drill through the hitch. It fit real well just trying to fit the hitch on after made it very tough. I was surprised to see how much room was between the skid and the gas tank itself.

I got that bumper. I wasn't in a big hurry so for it not to get to me for 3-4 weeks was no problem. I had him cut mine a little different on the sides so it wasn't so square. He is pretty good with emails but not so much with phone calls. as long as you are patient then you won't have problems.

Is that a Reese universal hitch? I've seen them around before, but wasn't sure how well they were built or things like that.

Yeah I believe so. It was on from the previous owner. I had to take it apart, it came out to 5 pieces. It was very oddly put together. I had to drill holes to make it work.

Yeah I live in Michigan so I'm hoping I could just pick it up and save money. But with gas. Who knows, it may be cheaper to have him ship it ha
