playin around down the street from my house. 231 is all together and ready to go in this week. Can't wait to have 2wd. Should be fun on dirt roads being able to spin the back tires and it will be really nice if I get an increase in my mpg.

thanks. i was trying to get a pic going into it from the other direction but I couldnt get out my side because there was too much water. So I only have a pic coming back through. What would happend if I pulled the front sway bar? would it make the truck more level when going through stuff like that?

It would make the front flex more. So, yeah. But if it is driven on the road at all I don't advise it. Unless you mean just disconnecting it, and reconnecting it when you hit the road again.

Yeah, it would definitely give you more flex.

update.
Went out wheeling a few sundays ago. Everything was going good.
Found a hole when recrossing this spot on the way out of Wharton.

No big deal, for safety, I had my buddy pull me back out with his XJ so I didn't roll it.
Left there and went to a local spot. Did a bunch of mud runs and found a hole and got stuck.

Buddy tried to pull me out backwards and he couldn't get traction. So he wanted to try from the front and then got himself stuck

I was mad and decided I needed to break some part in my truck.

Also broke the pin that holds the spider gears, then that fell down and ruined everything. Swapped out my d30 for a 97 d30 with u joints instead of CVs.

Next step is to order wheel spacers and at least an aussie for the back.

best/worse thing of it all is that my buddy got stuck in the same spot going the other way and I was able to pull him out. He doesn't know how to drive so when I got stuck........ he got stuck lol.

Been a long while. UAV now has aussie lockers front and rear. FINALLY!
I ordered them over a year and half. Got the front with in a month but had to wait for the back, didn't have time to install them and I finally took off from work just to install them yesterday. Should be going out to have some fun today. First time wheeling in forever also.
