got the engine out of the doner. gonna pain it CAT yellow and use the renix head . port it to match the hoe manifolds . and powder coat it black with a black valve cover should look nice.
cant afford the Toyota engine yet but it dose get me on the trans i'll be needing for now.
some other pics of the rear axle found emm today thought i'd share
truss is a bit rough but it should do
moved the shock mounts should be hard to get emm hung-up now
added a little too the perch to help with axle wrap figure a little extra will help. added about an inch & 1/2 .

built a dash with a purpose today. on the fly mapping, speed readout , and it can give turn by turn direction if need be.
also took some time to fresh up the dash some. got rid of the grey overlay that was cracked up and installed a new black one with a few coats of flat black on it . my rig now has built in gps and the ability to record drivers view video in HD720P "i plan to put that to use over the winter. also have a on board computer system and small HD monitor for lager maps, pic and video review
few shots of the dash . i test fit it in to get all the clip areas in the dash frame work repaired few clips were busted and not alined

i like the mud flaps. did you pick them up from a big rig or did you buy them online? i was thinkin of making mud flaps out of strands of chainand wield the ends together so they stay together. more to catch big rocks that will be thrown rather than stop the mud, plus it would look sweet imo.
