Did you use MDF or PB?

Ok cool always heard that mdf had better sound absorbation to cancel negative sounds, but when I built mine I just went by what I was told not by what I researched. Either way I bet it sounds great.

Yeah really the only thing mdf is stronger because of being thicker. It it heavier, cost more, will still warp and swell if it gets wet, etc. Just not worth the trouble using it. There have been sound tests done and there was no audible difference in the two.

Yeah you can mount it right to the seat. Just gotta feel of the seat to where there is steel in it to put the screws.

If you would want an amp rack piece built on your sub box I could prolly do that too. I can get pretty crazy with them if someone wants it. I could even make it to where your amp would be sunk in it under plexiglass and be lit up with Leds.

But anyhoo I still didnt get any pics today. I started a sub box for a member so I didnt get any pics.

Hey I'm getting ready to build a sub box for my XJ. I was contemplating putting it there... just wondering how does it sound from that position. I was going to do either like that or facing up
