update on the jeep, nothing, it makes me want to cry cause i have done nothing but think about the jeep even at work and school i have been on this forum or craigslist. i did stop by the shop to put air in a tire with a small leek.

any how i was thinking about my snorkle set up. i was thinking of runing the snorkle in the cab but i think it would get just as dirty inside, and then i would have a big ugly hole were the old one was, plus i like the getto lookin pvc pipe snorkle

yea its a little more work but atleast it wont bust on a tree or somthing u can get the prebent 90s and stuff so all u have to do is cut and weld instead of bending and just make a nice air box out of sheet metal and put the filter in it and ud be good to go

i got a ton of work done on the jeep over the week. on sat. i went to a swap meet and got a battery cut off switch, a set of hood pins, two ****** ropes, and a set of lug nuts that actually fit right. on monday i tore apart the entire front end and made a plan. i decided that the 2x2 framing is going to stay on the jeep just in a diffrent way. i relized that it is 1/4 inch thick steel, i hit with a sledge hammer the hardest i could and it didnt even dent. but i am going to change the way it is mounted. im gonna move the frame from the bottom of the jeep and put it in the unibody and resupport the entire frame with more tubing. any ways tonnight i pulled apart the springs and covered them in grease and put them back together

wow this is impressive. Good luck. I'm in a totally different boat but I have a 91 xj as well. check it out. i'd like a lot of input on how to fix up the look of mine.

And yeah. I totally agree about buying a beat up jeep (actually mine was given to me by my brother who went out and bought a brand new F150) but its more gratifying than just spending a bunch of money on something you'll beat up to get it, fix it up, then break it and fix it. Its a way of life.
