yes'm them be the ones. I blew my throttle position sensor a bunch of times. its sucks when that goes cause your engine will be very sparatic in how it runs. and any water in distributor will give you less spark and less burn, so less power and mileage and if there is a lot it just wont start.

well just future advice. dont go through any puddle at high rpm's, because you have no chance to shut off jeep if its too deep. and if you suck too much at once your camshaft will grenade. I've done it twice it really really sucks.

with mine 98 xj I have drown it four times hydrolocked it three times so far the carnage is 4 tps ,oil and filter changes air filters etc etc one time after I locked up the engine pulled the plugs cleared the water out. got it running but did not change the oil on the trail so i thought I will do it when I am home finished the trail ride and had to drive about 60 miles before I changed the oil everything was good or so I thought two weeks later the side of the block let go at no. 1 cylinder normal drive to the store no noise no problems then bang SO IF YOU THINK ANY WATER MADE IT IN TO THE ENGINE CHANGE THE OIL ASAP I learned the had way next time I locked the motor ( I know I didn't learn my lesson)I changed the oil on the spot now when I wheel oil , filters, drain pan,and empty jugs to hold the old oil are the first things pack. For all work you have done to your XJ an oil changed is a lot cheaper and easier than changing the motor just my 0.02 amazing work on your rig

DAAAAYYYYYYYMMMNNNN!!!! that is a sweet looking bumper bro. I'm really impressed. Even my wife gave it a compliment. "And us Cherokee owners know that when the wive approves of something, that means that it is good"

I'm really enjoying this thread. keep up the good work!!

Hey Boss,

New to jeep and the forum, just saw your thread day before yesterday, and just wanted to say how great it is that you and your dad have something in common to work on together. As you get older and build more with your homies, just remember the old man and if it wasn't for him you'd probably not be as responsible and as good as you are with your hands. You're way more responsible than I ever was at 16. Keep it up man, you've inspired me to do the same to my ZJ!!

oh damn, you're from the BAY!!! Represent Son!!!
