That's good thinking with the clear coat. Good job. I usually clean the white letters on mine with some stuff called Westley's Bleach White. I think I'll give the SOS pads a try next time. Thanks for the reply.

alright so i stripped my jeep out because it had been raining and i went outside. got in my jeep and the carpet was soaking wet.... so i tore out the carpet fixed the holes. got a new jy carpet. and i figured while i was at it i might as well replace my saggy headliner. so i picked up a new one of those at the jy too. im almost done now. but these are a few pics of my progress....


after the carpet came out. had some rust.


holes fixed and bedlined / undercoat




pulled headliner




new headliner


had to add this bracket for the 98 headliner to bolt up.

I like how nice your floors look after the bedliner. Ones of these days I'll install new carpet and do the same. Is that Herculiner or something like Line-x?

no i used duplicolor undercoat/sound insulator. it layed out real nice and its under the carpet. so it dosent have to be real tough.
