Default Storage box

Started building a storage box to keep stuff organized and stop it from flying around. Just have to cover it with carpet and add some sort of latch. Also found a pretty sweet all steel shovel at the hardware store, so I mounted it to the side of the rack.

You lucky SOB! How did you score such fat deals on CL? I can't find squat but the hiv on CL. Dang!
Bay Area CL doesn't have much for XJ parts.
Your Jeep is one sweet ride man. Clean Clean Clean! And you did some very tasteful mods. Congrats man!

That's because I'm quicker on the draw! I actually seach the bay area as well as the Sacramento area since I drive up there quite a bit anyways. Found the D44 in Grassvalley, bumper in Sacramento, SuperNerfs in San Rafael and so on. Thanks man

Awesome deals dude! Yeah I don't know what I'd do without Craigslist. I'm to the point where I hate buying stuff new because there are so many deals on CL. Ebays good for the small stuff though. Thanks

Threw some black paint on where the trim used to be. i hated the silver that was on there. Took it down some overgrown trails a couple weekends ago, so i now i have some good scratches from headlights to taillights. Oh well. Some new dents will cover those scratches right up! New JCR bumper comes in a couple days. Cant wait to get it on there. I feel like someones going to put their hood right through my gas tank without a bumper.

Default JCR Stage 2 Bumper

Hey guys, been awhile since I've made an update. Forgot to post some pics of the rear bumper when I got it on. I also finished the storage box in the trunk that turned out alright. Other than that, I've just been having fun with it. Its just about time for another round of mods.... if i can find some time. I got a Nissan Titan not to long ago that I drive most of the time. So, I'm probably going to make the XJ a little less road worthy and a lot more trail worthy. Here are some pics of the bumper. Overall, I'm happy with it, but since I removed the trim on the jeep, the bumper caps aren't flush. I guess I can fix that with some quarter panel armor but I'll probably spend the money elsewhere.

Damn that sucks man. Did you manage to salvage any parts from it? That was a nice 2 door. Glad to hear you found another one. What lift are you getting?

I'm in the East Bay Area. Nice looking XJ you got there. I like the stripe on the hood.
