Thanks guys. I appreciate the compliments. I'm really happy how its turning out so far. I found a metal gas tank skid on CL for 20 bucks and installed it a week ago. I think its the one that comes stock on some XJs. Does anyone have experience with these? I think it'll hold up fine on dirt ledges and whatnot, but would probably crush on rocks. I'll probably upgrade later. Can't beat the added protection for $20 though.
How do you guys think the current setup will handle the Rubicon Trail?
Next on the list:
Install roller fairleads
Rear bumper
Remove the rest of the trim on the door and paint the area black(Possibly bedliner)

Stukboy - Yeah that would have been nice... Can't really predict the mountain weather though. Luckily it didn't last too long. What I really need is a shop!

Thanks man. I really didnt notice the front coming down much. Definately not enough to make it rub tires. I still haven't wrapped the synthetic rope or mounted the fairlead, though I doubt that'll make a difference in the height. I guess I could get some spacers if need be.

Got the roller fairlead and control box mounted. The wires werent long enough to mount the box in the middle of the bumper, so I had to mount it on the light bracket for now. Since I have to lengthen the wires anyways, Ill just relocate the box under the hood. I also have to grind down the Smittybilt roller fairlead housing to fit under the ARB fairlead bracket. I wasnt able to use the bolts that are supposed to go down through the bracket and vertical rollers. Its solid the way it is, but Im going to keep my eye out for a warn fairlead. I'd rather do it right. I took it down a local trail yesterday without any problems. Now Im off to hit some tougher stuff today. Here are a couple pics.
