Advice, take care of it and it will take care of you..if the PO didn't take care of it, nurse it back to health and it will run like a champ for you. The one i just bought was beat and abused when i got it i am slowly nursing it back to health. I am a firm believer that jeeps have a mind of there own..lol With your jeep being previously lifted i would go through and check all your bushings and check for cracks on your unibody and take care of all of that accordingly. i see that you already changed your tie rod ends and about to do the ball joints both good good things to do. Also check your upper and lower control arms...if they are still factory get them swapped out ASAP..factory control arms will cause your front axle pinion angle to be off.

I love mine too. Be nice to it. I am usually very kind to mine and keep it well maintained. Every once in a while I will put the pedal to the metal but not often.

X2... and furthermore if you are going to run 33s then look into regearing. I have stock gearing for 31s now and it is pretty weak on highway driving. And also with your 4.5 lift i suggest a slip yoke, which will eliminate vibes in your driveline and make it a smoother more chick magnetable ride. Start saving up my man!!

I am 17 and my xj is my first car as well, its all fun and games until you realize you dont have any gas money from buying your latest mod

You're supposed to be able to buy gas too..... Crap... that's where I keep messing up... LOL... Nice looking Cherokee you got there... Like everyone said on here kind of take a walk through the Jeep as is now and see if you can find anything that might need some love and take care of it... You show it love and it will return your love, you treat it like s**t and it will return you s**t....

Good buy, Watch that motor 231,000 is getting up there be sure to keep up the repairs, and most likly it hasnt had the easist life if the PO lifted it. That being said 33's will do you fine. Mines on 33's and I have no problem cruising around town other than gas milage (12-13). Start looking into SYE's cause it will make a world of difference. Other than that good luck.

Beutifull jeep. As far as your stereo problem. I had similar problems with mine. i couldn't find a accurate wiring diagram. I thought i found the power supply but ended up blowing my tail lights... LOL... I ran a new power supply off the fuse box and also a ground to the fire wall. Havent had a problem sense.
