Well Ive owned 2 xjs before this one and both were 2wheel drive, so when i came across this 89 a little more than a year ago i snatched it up but didnt really start building it up until last October. So here are some pics of the build so far let me know what yall think.

Thanks man. I usually go wheelin at a spot off of international dr just southwest of seaworld thats mostly swamp trails, but whenever i get up to Jacksonville or near camp blanding i go play in the sand. But ive never been out to green swamp, where's it located?

go for it bud. just make sure the stinger is made of solid round bar and you'll have no problem with trees or slow drivers, and now when you hit a deer it goes under the jeep instead of through the windshield. sorta turns the jeep into a big meat tenderizer

 

does the skid plate in front of the radiator affect the temp of the jeep at all??

 

no but the only thing in front of the radiator is some expanded metal to keep the tree branches out.
