It's wasn't but a few days after getting my roof rack on I decided to make some light brackets.
I got every thing that I needed from lowes to make the brackets for about 9 bucks. Beats 80 for the surco light mounts.
Stick of flat bar of steal
U-bolts
And paint.

On this day my cousin an I decided to make a day of riding at our local Offroad park Chocolocco Mountian located in Jacksonville AL. This was the day that I realized just how much I miss having a true suspension lift and decided the spacer have to go.

Then just a few days later my JCR rear bumper shows up. It's gonna take some time for me to get this one on because of the limited time I have off work. But it's gonna get done.
Now on to the front bumper.
Seeing that my main goal it is to shoot for the old AEV style XJ, I pretty much had only one choice for a front bumper. And the would be the ARB Bull Bar Bumper which I ordered through Rusty's Offroad Products. The guys at Rusty's were very helpful. So a few weeks after I ordered my front bumper I received a call from Rusty's saying my bumper had arrived, so later that week I was able to pick it up.

After all the work that I put into installing this bumper by myself and got the bumper finished I was taking some pictures when I noticed that the bumper was tilted back and was not straight at all. So I got to looking to see if I done any thing wrong and I noticed that it wasn't on my part at all. It was on ARBs part.
Where the cross member on the front of the unibody is attached the two metals overlap.
So to make up the gap from the two metals that overlap ARB welds a tab to make up for the bumper not fitting flush.
After discovering this, I pull the bumper back off of my jeep to do a little work on the bumper. I cut of the taps welded on the brackets to level the bumper back out.
So after removing the brackets and painting the brackets, I installed the bumper a second time to ding the bumper was a lot straighter than it was but if ya still tilted back some. So after looking around for a minute or two I discovered that the top corner of the left mounting bracket was hit the bolt for my power steering. So I proceed to remover the bumper again.
After citing an painting this part of the bumper I installed the bumper for a third time. The bumper cleared the bolt perfectly.
So one I had every thing tightened back and the bumper was secure I notice that the bumper fit perfectly and was straight like it should be.
After I was done with that I had to come up with a way to mount the solenoid for my winch. ARB only has a bracket the it compatible with the Warn winches and the wires from the solenoid were just a a little short so I made a plate that could shift the solenoid over and attach to the warn bracket.
