I first have to thank everybody for thier help, during my build. Its not the first 4x4 at home, but is the first XJ here.
I couldnt get picture of the first steps in the build up, but I wear that everything that happenned to XJ Stryker with the body rust, the cooling problems and the engine rebuild, I went through the exact same thing!!!

Opps I forgot the hi lift mount
We got it from a tools catalog as a farm jack, for maybe 100 bucks less that the other brands

Basically we started with a 87 waggy my folk bought from his brother in law, with a blown tranny. He didnt told us anything, and one day he came with it home. From there I had to rebuil the brake system, new rotors, pads, cylinders, shoes, drums hardware.
After that, we moved to tune up the engine, and like XJ Stryker with his build up, my engine had almost a 1/4" of sludge all over. I had to rebuilt the head, new lifters, chain, degrease almost everithing inside, rebuilt oil pump, machine the camshaft to make sure was good, put new water plugs (bronze) new water pump, hoses, thermostat, and a new 3 row copper radiator. And after getting tire of trying to burp the system, we took one of the old tanks (left) and replace where the new plastic one was to be able to weld the filling neck. I still need to put the thermostat back, but that will be for another day.

Umm.... just wondering what the hi jack mount is used for. I have that same jack in my fathers garage. If it is useful i may just put it on my jeep (92 XJ)

I love the clever use of parts. Great idea on the Hi Lift. I never thought of pulling that out of the farm catalog.
