That's not bad. I think you'll be happy with it. Like I said it is a really nice and complete kit. Be careful with the upper shock bolts on the rear also... the have a tendency of breaking and man what fun they are to drill and tap. Ask XTR98XJ... we both had the same problem as our XJ's are from the north and have seen snow/salt.

Yea well i live on the north coast and the salt water doesnt help whatsoever

Yeah that's the big problem i've noticed. Just use lots of PB Blaster and when loosening bolts work them back and forth as it helps a lot!

okay so i am probably going to go for the full leaf packs any ideas on how to get the old ones off without breaking anything?

No not really. I guess just let them soak in PB Blaster and just take it easy working them out. If you break s bolt here is the link to the new brackets which are way better than stock anyways...
