I really like the look of your jeep...how do you like that lift? I was considering getting it for my Jeep. I have a bone stock 98 cherokee sport

Thanks! I like the lift kit really well. It rode a little stiff at first but softened up a little once settled. I went with the 180lb front springs so I have support for the steel winch bumper I am installing on it.

Yeah plus shipping. Very nice kit and very complete. I do recommend getting the adjustable track bar from them as your front differential will get off-set once lifted. Definitely worth the $125 or w/e it was I paid. Oh and your best bet when installing the add-a-leaf kits on the rear is to do it with the factory leaf spring pack still on the vehicle as it is so much easier to do not to mention the front leaf spring bolts have a tendency to get stuck and snap. If that happens you will have to drill the spot welds on your leaf spring hangers and replace them along with a new bolt... just a little heads up.

Shipping depends on your location. They are in Alabama and I am in Tampa, FL. so it was like $50 for shipping or something like that. Check their web site and add it to your cart then calculate shipping. That's what I did.

Would it be better to step up and get the XJ Cherokee 3" Spring Pack Kit that comes with 3" leafs already?
|
i plan on getting the same lift should i get add a leaf or a whole new leaf pack?
|
I almost ordered the spring pack but I am glad I didn't. Like I said the bolts have a tendency of getting stuck and snapping. You may want to see if you can get you front leaf bolts out first or at least get them loose. But the answer to your question is yes the spring pack is a better choice but really not necessary...

In other words the add-a-leaf kit works just as fine.
|
if i can afford it would it be better going with the new leafs?
