thats insane! i talked to a guy with a 98 (same year as mine) with the 3.5 RE lift and he said he couldn't even drive it without the SYE! i have the RE3.5 as well but i bought the SYE. haven't installed any of it yet but I'm sure i will add lift in the future so i might just put the SYE away for safe keeping if i need it some time in the future!

here are the most recent pics of the jeep i have taken. decided i was done with the all black and green and removed the plastidip from the wheels. i think it breaks it up better. probably going to sand them down and repaint them the factory color when i get new tires. i also want to get some new lighting for the front bumper, a hitch receiver, mount a fishing pole holder to the front bumper, and get some better speakers. its kind of hard to tell but i also tinted my front windows 20% to match the back

back to summer mode

ill be sure to post on this thread as i get more updates with my rig.

the only issues i had with them was rubbing the contol arms at full lock either way or if i flexed completely out theyd hit my fender flares. wheel spacers and trimming fixed it. i didnt have to trim a lot either. you will really like the ride quality of the lift.

i was running my rods on the roof rack with bungees last summer but that limited how many i could bring. i think im going to weld a 2'' receiver to my front bumper and build a rack with 8 holders and a tray for coolers etc. i need to sand it back down to metal and re-bed line it anyway. i did a very light coat and the salt is doing a number on it. anyone have any other ideas as for a mounting rod holders? pics would be nice
