So is the rack going to stay off permanently?
Not sure yet. It definitely won't be up there when I'm wheeling.Originally Posted by TX RamRod

I think it would be good to hang on to for traveling. you can always attach some collapsible/foldable legs so you can set it up as a table or something once you get to camp.
I finally got around to replacing the driver side door check. I couldn't take the popping any longer, so I went to the JY and found a donor with a practically brand new one. All installed and no more noise. I also scored some factory speakers out of a Limited. They are sounding great. I'll have one more update later today with some pictures.
I know it's a crap picture, but it's all I got right now. Installed some Hella 500's on the bumper. This should help with dark roads at night.

Thanks man. I have 2 more, but I'm not sure that I want to mount them. If I do, I may mount them near the A-pillar.Originally Posted by TX RamRod

lol... I know that feeling. I drove around for about 4 years without the door check on it. Finally snagged one off my parts Jeep and put it all on, only to discover the P.O's shoddy repair job of the frame-side bracket is pulling away from the frame.... so now it does a nice, loud "POP!" from it snapping back and forth when you open or close the door.Originally Posted by Silentj

Damn, that really sucks. You may need to weld that bracket back on. I've seen where if it gets really bad, there's no fixing it.Originally Posted by Basslicks

Yeah, it's already been torn off. They riveted a piece of sheet metal over the spot where it tore out and then bolted the bracket to the sheet metal. So it's the bolt on the bottom that is pulling out. I keep meaning to weld it, but just keep forgetting.

Lights look good, I need to get a set for my A-pillars. I've had the brackets for a year plus

Well something happened today. Not exactly what I wanted to happen, but it gives me an excuse for new exhaust. Any recommendations?

There was a vendor on here that sold 2.5" flowmaster/magnaflow muffler and tailpipe kits for just $110 shipped. I've had that kit with the flowmaster 44 on for over 4 years and it still sounds great.

I'll have to try to find them. That's kinda what I was already looking at, but it was running $150.Originally Posted by unidentifiedbomb

I like the Walker and Dynomax options. If you're thinking of doing the complete system, you can't go wrong with the Walker direct fit CAT. It's OEM or better.
I've got the complete system, CAT and all and it was super easy to put in. Girl did most the work on it. CAT, Muffler, Tailpipe, 3 clamps and a universal hanger kit from Advance auto is all it took.
