I experienced the same sway bar issue as well. Mine was dead center and yet still almost hit on one side. Finally realized after a couple weeks that the RE springs are the same for both sides, so the driver side spring actually sits further forward than the passenger side when installed, making it seem like the sway bar was off. Had to put sway bar spacer in and helped move the sway bar forward enough not to hit.

It's been a while... I finally figured out what was causing my rig to drive like a moose. The sway bar bushings were shot. She drives like a Cadillac now. Had her upto 80 today and no vibrations at all!!!

ain't gonna put it back on, it's long gone anyway. The Dana 44 doesn't even have sway bar mounts welded on the axle either.

If I didn't drive my daughter around, I would leave mine off too.

same feeling here.
My girl has to drive to work and college and I don't want her having issues. It's gotta be safe. She just changed out the sway bar bushings and installed the CURE on the drag link and that was the best mod for stopping the wandering in the steering. She says we don't need to look into the S10 box swap now. I'm impressed with how well it solved the problem.
Sway bar bushings cleared up the clunk when going over bumps N what not. MOOG bushings are just $16 and I like their product.

I just replaced my bushings the other day it's like driving an old Cadillac now. I'll have to look into the Cure.

I finally pulled the trigger on a winch. It took me a while because there are so many options. I thought about Warn, Engo, Superwinch and Smittybilt. Well, Smittybilt won because of the price and the 6.6 HP. I went with the XRC 9500 gen 2, which is waterproof. The install took about 30 minutes total.

Where did you get the shackles from?

I really like the looks of them. we didn't have them when we got our Jeep and bumper was already on it. Probably not going to need a winch with our use, but having a recovery point is useless unless you've got something to attach too.

Tractor Supply and I added the Daystar isolator to them to reduces the clanking.
