my 95 cherokee
As far as I know that foam holds water. Plumber foam right? I would RTV the holes just to be safe. Cause if it gets filled with water it'll rot or worse when it freezes it will crack the frame. Just my 2cents. But nice steel on the seats and nice patch job.
see i kinda thought the same thing with the water and such, but the guys i know using it, think its the cats meow so i gave it a shot. And thanks, the floor repair was brutal, but it tuned out great...the jeep shout damn near float
A good few higher end cars use foam for stiffening their unibodies. As long as you're using the right stuff, you should be fine. Sure, I'd seal up the holes, but I don't think it's that big of a deal.
Not to many updates..but last night i traded my four wheeler on another cherokee. Its a 87 pionere, 4.0L(renix) with aprox 8" or lift with 35's. Stay tuned i will post some pictures tonight. I will most likely be using this jeep as my parts truck more than any thing els.
Alright, so tonight got all the interior back in, all the new seats bolted in etc... and now its ready for the tilbily mud fest this saturday...
It also shows the nice bed lined and new floored interior...enjoy

Also here are a few pictures from our last mud fest...
