I mounted two fire extinguishers today; one on each side of the jeep. I believe this is a decent location for it.

I started my spare tire carrier build on the back today. Made out of 2x2 square tubing, it slides into the reciever that is built into my rear bumper. It folds the tire down to the drivers side.

I still need to add gussets and some paint. I think it's going to hold that 33 just fine, it will probably handle a 35 after i add gussets. Could of finished it tonight but was watching my Duke blue devils get beat in the first round of the tourney

I gave the jeep a bath with the pressure washer today and got a couple shots of the tire carrier finished up.

Getting the Heep ready for a Uwharrie run in a couple weeks. Not too much to do... Things i need to address:
replace rear main seal (dredding this)
need to buy 2 new hiem joints for my drag-link (hopefully solving my death wobble)
replacing hubs
rear shocks

Finally put on mirrors for the doors being off. They almost give a classic look lol.

Picked up a set of 35x12.5 mickey thompson baja claws for a really good deal today. These will probably put an end to my locked d30 lol.

Default 35s!

Got a killer deal on craigslist for 4, never mounted 35x12.5 KM2's! I could not be happier right now. The 4.56 gears pull them pretty well on the street.

Replacing rear main seal finally and it has been a royal pain in my *** so far. For the few people who actually look at my thread...taking off the starter will make your life easier when dropping the pan.

Got my hockey puck bumpstops in. Got about 4" of pucks and used a 1/2 bolt to hold them all together.

just cruised through your build..nice work. How well does that steering clear at full flex? and front cover clearance? from the pic, it looks kinda like the drag link will bind at the cross bar a full flex..could just be the pic tough.

anyhow, nice work.

I appreciate it man. And I know what you mean, I have less and less time to work on the jeep now managing school and a job. Hopefully we can get our meet and greet together.

Thanks for taking the time. I've never had any binding or clearance issues with it. I will say that i have wheel weights on the indside lip of my wheels that are chewed up a little. I'm guessing it's from the bolts i have on top of the knuckles hittinng them when i'm turned all the way one way. It barely sees street time so it doesn't affect me. If i ever get longarms or short arm drop brackets, i'm a little worried that the drag link and center link might hit however with the additional flex.
