Doing the disk conversion easily one of the best mods I have done so far. Completely worth the money and effort!

Only thing special with the Briarwoods was that they were loaded with all of the "comfort" features (leather seats, power everything, AC, etc...). Shouldn't have a problem with that lift.

There use to be a few places that you could order the new vinyl wood paneling stuff from, but I cannot find it anywhere now. Not sure where to look now.

Any local sign shop should be able to get a hold of your choice of wood grain vinyl.

Well, I figured the Jeep has been sitting there for a little too long now. Started taking apart the other 242 and ordered an RE HackNTap for it earlier this week. Time to get the ball rolling so I can go wheeling! Its been too long since my last trip.

What else needs to happen:
Put that other 242 in with HackNTap, along with a front driveshaft and whatnot
Longer front brake lines
Bump stops
Motor mounts

Discovered that the track bar needs some attention so I'll probably be ordering an Iron Rock Offroad Track Bar this paycheck so I can get that straightened out and not have to worry about issues when I drive it. HackNTap gets here tomorrow, so I'll also be tearing into the TCase some more this weekend.

nice build so far. did you get a new chain to put in it? im sure a 19 year old chain has probably stretched, i know mine is kinda loose.

you got the RE HnT kit? i was looking at ironrocks, that one seems pretty good, and a really good price. plus it comes with a driveshaft and i like the yoke and seal instead of the hunk of metal that is RE's hack and tap.

The TCase is from a '99. Chain seemed alright, so I was comfortable enough with not replacing it, especially after realizing how easy it is to tear into the case to work on it.

Yeah, got the RE1801 HackNTap. I didn't mind the flange, I'd need an adapter either way to run a front driveshaft in place of the rear. I got a free front driveshaft so I figured Id save the money and just put the effort into using it.

Don't think the old tcase is in the best of shape. Possibly has a stretched chain and it leaks like a ****.
