Mounted my CB radio today. Ended up having to trim my visors down a tad. Going to have to sew up the ends now... Just waiting on the antenna mount, cable and PA speaker. Midland 1001z -- $35.00 on Amazon. One more project down, a million more to go...

Thanks!
As far as the trac-bar, that's the only way it would go... Also, that's how the instructions showed...

Thanks! My tires are pretty sweet. They've gotten me through some pretty nasty stuff. They're pretty badass on snow. I'd recommend them and for the price, I can't complain. I think I paid between $450 - 500 for the set which included mounting, life time balancing and road hazard warranty.

Method 1: If you send me a set of undamaged turn signal housings and a return shipping slip (so I can send the finished product back to you), then it'll cost $150.
Method 2: If I have to go out to the junk yard, find and buy housings, and ship the finished product to you, it'll be $200.
I'd prefer Method 1 as that would ensure I'd have a set of good housings and shipping would be taken care of. All you're paying me for this way is parts + labor. But it's up to you.
I accept PayPal transactions. If you're interested, PM me. I'm working on a set for a guy at the moment.

Before I swapped to the waggy front end, I had brand new clear housings & the sylvannia performance bulbs, and no ***** but you could use those things as headlights lol..they were bright!
And pics with just your side marks light up at night? I'm really interested, but trying to decide if a LED bulb would be the same..
I think these would be far bright & have a longer distance for the sheer amount of LEDs used? And they should act similar to my old setup, sorta act like a miny fog light. Maybe you could use a long range type LED bulb, so it shoots further or something?
Idk pm me and we can go over it, and idk if the price would matter cause the housings are smaller? I'm converting to all LED's, inside & out, minus the headlights.

I'd deffinetly have to ship mine, because they are the for a waggy..the ones in the grill, they are about half the length of the XJ incase that factors into the price.

Mounted my antenna, ran power for the CB and ran the coax. Had to cut the antenna down to get it to a safe range for operation. May have to cut it down a tad more to get the range up some. It'll be good enough for the Uwharrie trip in less than a week. Went to the top of a rarely used parking deck at UNCC for my first attempt at tuning... My SWR on channel 1 is about 2.5 and channel 40 is about 2.8. Got to get those numbers lower.

Just last week, I had vacation. Didn't feel much like a vacation, as I worked on my Jeep literally from morning till night, 5 days in a row haha. Got a lot accomplished though.
For starters, I made it a little easier for my radiator to breathe. I removed the A/C condenser coil and all the lines up to the firewall.

Then, I scored another lucky find at the local junkyard. Found an aftermarket radiator with super clean coolant and no bent fins. A 2-row, CSF, all copper radiator with fill cap. Now was the time to convert to an open style cooling system and ditch that P.O.S. closed system.

While I was there, I went ahead and installed my transmission cooler that I got for Xmas.

Since I was doing the open style conversion, I had to make room for the coolant overflow bottle. I wanted it in the stock location as Chrysler intended, so I had to relocate my ignition coil and move over my relay center. Using an old XJ front bumper, I fabricated a plate in which to mount the coil.

Then I installed it. Note also, the relay center has been moved over by about 2".
Now the overflow bottle fits with no issues.

While I had all the heater/cooling hoses off, I went ahead and swapped the valve cover to the Chrysler style. I like this design better than my stock AMC style.

This is a photo showing the multiple upgrades that were done last week.

I also re-installed those leaves that I took out of the leaf spring pack 5 years ago... (sorry for the crappy picture)

When I put my tires back on, I accidentally rung off a lug...

The final thing I got done last week was getting my high flow catalytic converter installed.

Final product...

Remove my rear sway bar and fixed my E-brake lever. The old lever wouldn't catch the teeth and stay up, a problem I've had the almost 8 years I've had her. Finally fixed it by using a lever from a donor Jeep. No pictures of either of these, unfortunately...
Also worked on cleaning up and painting my 4.10 geared axles. Again, sorry for the crappy picture...

1997 Ford Thunderbird LX V8

I think it was a 4.6L V8 in the Thunderbird, but it's the same injectors used in the 5.0's of that time period. They're yellow stick injectors 700/710's. Look like these below:

Went to Uwharrie this past weekend (04/13 - 04/14). Had a blast running up and down the trails, rocks and mud. Can't wait to go again. Now for some pictures!

As far as those LEDs go, I've been meaning to get to that. Had a lot going on the past week, but I will shoot you a PM soon. Sorry for the hold up.
