My 87 Wagoneer
My 1990 Cherokee pioneer had seen some better days. And I found this diamond in the rough, 87 Wagonner 44 rear axle. Charged A/c and an engine bay you could practically eat off.
Here are the two jeeps lift and wheels moved from the cherokee to the wagoneer.
The lift was pulled from my other Cherokee, my bumpers and that were re-fitted.
Lift Finished
Added a 2 inch spacer to the front and 2 inch grease-able lift shackles to the rear springs. so with the 3 inch rc lift and the added 2 inches I am sitting around 4.5-5 inches of lift.
Fitting the bumper and winch. Loving the 4 headlights and I am going to stick with this grill. May get a cleaner one later but the missing teeth allows wiring easy access.
I look back at the wood grain and I am sad to see it go, but honestly that was in such bad shape and if I was going to paint it later, the outside trim was attached with plastic rivets.. so filling 100+ holes on both sides was not Ideal. Also the Wagoner had some busted electric windows and red **** carpet that had to go. So sadly out with the wood grain and the plan was to move the fenders and doors from my pioneer.
removed the pioneer trim (some damage was left after a re-glued trim peice came off badly)
Finally have both bumpers + tire carrier fitted and the rear quarterpanels cut and welded.
^As its stands now. Still need to add my led lights and I am thinking of installing them on the a pillars, just working on mounts. The interior is gutted and will be bed-lined once I have some time (the old cherokee was as well)
Ill try and get more pictures in the next few days of the rear and tire carrier. The Wagoner front and rear lights are awesome, and With the pioneer parts there is almost no chrome on the jeep (mirrors, door handles, and window trim all black)

really looks awesome. I kind of like the wood grain too. Makes it look classic.
looks killer bud....
i love those "Woody Wagons."

Here is a larger picture for the current front and the back
The Wood grain was just a vinyl sticker and came off easily with some heat. if you look closely at the back quarter panel there are the holes that the wood trim used. I filled these ones with little rubber grommets for now. But might be pre-drilled holes for some quarterpanel Armor down the road.
The bumpers were made by my cousin and myself (mostly him) but are functional and strong, not the prettiest ones on here, but I like the look and the approach angles.
^ The rocker panels turned out good in spray-on bedliner I am pretty happy overall but still need to do up the rear fenders (debating on cutting and folding for more clearance, these are 31's and when they wear out I will be upgrading to I think 33x10.5r165.
I don't think I will have major rubbing issues, but I have had these stuffed in the wheel wells pretty good. Any opinions from guys that have theirs cut and folded would be great, is it worth doing/pretty bad for the unitbody?

Gathering parts for a second accessories battery. This will power the 12 volt cooler exterior lighting, power inverter, air compressor and even the stereo for camp music.
So far:
Donor battery from my old cherokee + an almost new gel battery from a 2000 caddie.
zero gauge wiring ground and fuse
List of parts to get:
Terminals with a battery tester or RV battery meter for dash
Isolator (http://www.princessauto.com/pal/en/B...ator/8235673.p)
wire block or 2nd fuse box for the other accesories - few options here.
building casing and storage unit for the trunk.
Upgraded alternator potentially - might happen later on if needed.
