Default My 2wd build/advice

Hey! im my names jayson, also go by jay. I have been shadowing on this forum for awhile and haven't started my own thread, Mainly because I wanted to figure out which direction I wanted to take my xj. I have a 97 2wd 3in lift on bf 30s wrapped on Black rock Lobo 950 rims. well my first thought was to do a 2wd, 4wd conversion.. but after looking at a few threads, I now wanna lock the rear and winch the front. im not going to be doing any crawling. just minor trails for fishing and camping, and minor occasional trips up north to the snow.

I will be updating weekly with pictures,
BUT I need advice on which locker I should go with? my rear is the C8.25..

build plans,
lock rear
front and rear bumpers
overhead console and rewrap headliner,
custom rear seat storage for camping/hunting gear,
and whatever else come across my mind during lol

heres some current pics

I have a 96 2WD. I'm interested to see what you do with yours. I have been wanting to do stuff to mine, but wasn't sure what could be done. I have 30's on it but that is it.

Same here. A 4wd conversion is pretty easy for the most part. And cost is about 600-800 bucks if you shop right and do pick a part. But its still like. A 3 day ordeal. Really not much need if your not going to be crawlin. So a couple hundred lock the rear winch the front to pull me out if i ever get I stuck.
