Default My 2001 XJ Build "Rose"

Well i have been working on this for a long time and finally got around to writing my build and joining the forum. Well here she is all bad looking stock!My 2001 XJ Build "Rose"-1stock.jpg
I bough her in for $4200 all she needed was a thermostat housing easy day. On my first trip after getting her ready for the road the front breaks locked up on me smoked the breaks
Got fixed same day.

After all this i started doing all my fluids Royal Purple in every thing exsept the engine. By this point the folks at the parts store they are starting to know me by name.

Got frisky and rolled my fenders it is a must looks much better and i added CL 31 tires. Got mad when i put the weight on them and dry root.My 2001 XJ Build "Rose"-3no-lift-31s.jpg

So as you can see in the photo the for sale sign well the Great Wife and I have just closed on the house so the lift has arrived so the lift is it for while. As you can see i am still unpacking boxes I ordered a Rustys 3 in lift kit with full springs and adjustable lower control arms. Thought that was all i was going to need! So after a few long days in my sancutary known as my man cave AKA garage i got her all finished for know so far i have three inches of lift on 31 with adjustable LCA and rear sway bar removed all new hardware holding my new shocks in place.

From the last post you can tell i did the H4 conversion it was accually the first mod i did well worth it i recommend to every XJ owner see so much better at night worth every penny and Wife approved!

After a while of this I notice a need for more parts adj track bar and rustys off road have duty steering. Very well worth it 3/4 DOM very nice! Sorry no pictures. At this point I stayed clear of CL and got a set of 33"s from a guy at work lots of tread left still no alignment, pictures later sorry

Looking good man! Glad you started a build. God call on the adj LCA's and ditching the rear sway. Two mods i need to do...as soon as i stop crashing Candace. Did it again this morning on my way to work

So after this my wife brought a beautiful little girl into this world. So with this daddy has to put his jeep on hold for a while, so like any good dad it is time to read to your children!

Well little ones take alot of time so not much for a long time. All i have really done is bore out my TB great mod recommend it to every one whistles a little bit but who cares MORE POWER. Also added a cat back pipe 2.5 inch and air filter adapter. While all this was going on I tried growing another JeepMy 2001 XJ Build "Rose"-9awaiting-money.jpg
