Got my lift done today. Had a hard time with all the body work but got it pretty close. I just have to keep it muddy! Pics will come soon. All I have left is to put the header panel on and get insurance and it's driving!!!!!
By the way MoparNJeep your jeep looks awesome!

I know my cell takes horrible pictures!
I'm putting insurance on it Monday! Have to put on the header panel and wire everything up and it's road worthy.
Lift went smooth. I ended up using the 2nd and 3rd largest leafs from a stock pack I had from one of my part outs. I purchased 4 Ubolts for $50 from Napa to fit the leafs and allow a little more room for growth in the future, along with grinding down some like new shocks and repainting them white.
So far the lift has cost me:
$40 for 1.75'' coil spacers
$50 for ubolts
$5 for white paint for shocks
= $95!
I gained 2'' in the rear and the front matches very well! Jeep looks great with the 245's. Overall I'm thrilled with how this project has turned out. I'm into this for $1700 with everything.
When I put the lift on I noticed the damage under the driver's fender is worse than I thought. PO must have hit some debris. It buckled the bottom of the fender well right before the rocker panel on the inside. It opened a seam enough to allow the driver's floorboard to rust. There is a 3 inch diameter hole under the floor pan, along with another one just starting.
I cleaned it and bedlined it for the time being but I am going to address that in the next week. I also have to fix the driver's hinges as they are very worn. On the good side I'm going to make it a quick disconnect door! Same with passenger in the near future.
I just can't wait to add some more miles to this thing. She's mechanically solid and just begging for some road time. I will take some pictures of the jeep tomorrow hopefully.

She took me home today. Ran like a champ. Got the body work all together. Lines aren't perfect but not bad for a 20 year old pilot and a dad who hates bodywork! I still have to paint the front bumper and put the caps on. Fix the bad drivers hinges, floor, add my radio from the old DD, and get some miles on her! I've never had a vehicle with such low miles. I feel like I'm doing something wrong when I see 45608 on the odometer. I got her up to 45620 tonite though! Can't wait to test out the hitch in the am as I bring a motor I picked up to the shop. That's for my next project
