Great looking Jeep! The lift looks great, was it fairly easy to install?

Thanks man! yea i did the lift myself, it wasnt too hard to put on. I had the most trouble with the leaf springs and the rear shock bolts, but i was expecting that because all the xj lifts ive done they usually always break off. The smaller and more simple lifts are easy to do at home, but the more complex are a little harder, but im gonna upgrade to a 4.5-5.5in here soon so we'll see how it goes haha

This morning driving to class the jeep finally broke 90,000 miles! And i found out my neighbor had a extra heavy duty hi-lift jack. I offered him 50 bucks for it, and he ended up giving it to me for free!! Now i just have to make a clamp for it on the safari rack.

Well me and my 12 year old sister went down sam brown road (old logging road) for her first wheeling trip. She drove the entire road perfectly, most of the rocks are like 3-4.5ft high and the biggest is like 5ft. She crawled through the course perfectly! Needless to say, shes hooked!!

I never saw an answer to this question, so I'll first start by asking what your geared at right now. 3.55? What size tires are you running? Do you plan to stick with those or go bigger?

Check the metal tag/plate thing next to your diff cover, it will say. You most likely have 3.55's. I'm running 31's as well and I'm still at 3.55's. If you really do plan on going up to 33's, I think 4.56's would be a good option. Check this table out:

I have been running 33s & 3.55s for awhile now and no real mpg or power loss. Ya 4.56 gearing would be nice but $$ I do not have. Although at that point 35s may be in order.
