My 1999 build
When i bought this jeep it was completely stock, and it had 86,000 miles on it. I had to replace the exhaust, and fix a ball joint. This is my daily driver so i didnt want to change it a whole lot, but i did plan on putting a 3in rc lift, and custom bumpers. Also i may get a safari rack.

As soon as i got the jeep i took it offroad lol. I took it mudding and just crawled through it in 2 wheel. Once i came home and my mom saw what i did with my "daily driver", she was MAD!! haha

God after 4 long hours we put it on. It was hard getting the rear leaf springs off, and of course the rear shock bolts broke off, but i was expecting it bcause it happens on most xj's. But here are some pics of what it looks like now!!

I took the jeep and had it aligned yesterday and it drives great. There is a slight vibration but im in the process of putting shims on the back so that should take care of it. Also im about to buynew tires and a new heavy duty steering system.

Well im completely now haha, i went and bought my new heavy duty tie rod and drag link. Because i had to heat my tie rod up several times to straighten it because of the rocks on the trails up here. So im good to wheeling!!!

Well i just ordered my new rock crawler street lock rims last night so they should be here for christmas! Next on the list is swaybar disc. and differential covers for front and rear axles. Im also saving money for either a flowmaster or a dynomax exhaust. Im hoping to re-gear my gears soon too, what would be a good ratio for a dd and moderate off roading?
