Here's my build so far. Bought it on July 10th, 2009, bone stock. The first picture is the day before i brought it home.
I put the lift on in the beginning of September. Ive never done that much work on anything but I'm really glad I did it, it was a lot of fun.
The last 3 pictures are from this morning and tonight. I've had the tires for a little over a month now, just waited to get rims until earlier this week, finally got them on the jeep.
Comments, ideas, questions... just let me know what ya think. Thanks for checkin it out.

Lookimg sweeeet! I have the same XJ Year, color and all. Just got my lift on too. Just need to get the tires and rims on now. Getting them mounted this weekend. Did your front axle move to one side a little. Mine did and Im trying to figure out how to center it. Ive never didi a lift before and was wondering how to center it.

your jeep's looking pretty good. but now that you have a rack, i'd mount your lights up there.
fritz, you need an adjustable trackbar. others have redrilled their tb hole, but i wouldn't recommend doing that as the trackbar takes a lot of stress, and that just weakens the mount.

Since the light housings are too big to mount in those stock bumper holes (as in the grill is in the way, they arent shallow enough), I found some random brackets laying around, they're actually off my dads motorcycle haha.
Is it a country too? and i think my axles off a little bit but caged is right, thats why i just ordered the RE adjustable track bar when i ordered my lift, totally worth it. I never got a professional front end alignment after i lifted it, which is why its not perfect, i fixed the toe in tho.
My friend i bought the tires from has some lights that will fit on the roof rack a little better.
Thanks for all the comments guys!

I dont know how you fit the tires so easily. Mine are 31x10.50 and I went up almost 6in and still have to cut. I have almost 24in from bottom of rocker to ground. Im ordering an RC adjustable track bar from carparts.com for $58. My axle is off slightly. Yours looks pretty damn good. Keep up the good work.

Thanks man.
Also, Farm and fleet has the Larin 48" high lift Jack on sale for $36.99 so I picked one up (grabbed a tow strap too, 15' 8500lbs). Depending on the weather I'm gonna try to get it mounted to the roof rack tomorrow, and wash all the salt and crap off the jeep, I'll post more pics soon.

what kinda of lift do you have? i have those same tires with a RE 4.5 kit and i have a solid 24 inches from the ground and plenty of room for 33's, i did trim about 3/4 of an inch out of my fenders also idk if that would make that much of a difference. btw strikechords your XJ looks awesome! good luck with getting those tires to fit!
