Awesome score on the XJ and the upgrades... Look forward to seeing them installed.. And Sno Blynd, he is actually only a few states above you, not across the country...

well between work and the kids I finally got some time to put into the jeep now this is the first time I have attempted body work so try not to be to harsh
I started with the header panel first was the fiberglass

then some filler

had to do alot of sanding and then a little more filler and more sanding then primer

got it put back on the jeep, I know its not perfect but it looks way better than it did and the only person that has to like it is me

I also found this under the rear passenger bumper cap

so I decided to try my hand with my new grinder and a cut off wheel, did a little cutting, grinding, sanding, then hit it with some primer, since I do not have a welder I used rivets to put some new sheet metal in the back, then I ran out of day light......

I will be putting a piece in the front once I find a bender or figure a way to bend it and then will smooth it with some filler, prime and paint it not to worried about it being perfect since it is under the bumper cap......TO BE CONTINUED......

It took longer than I had hoped for but finally got the leafs, springs, and spacers installed today. The shocks that I got which I thought were longer than my stock ones were actually the same size so I have to order new shocks.
A huge thanks to fellow forum members Doug and Mike, and a big thanks to Steve for all the help today!!!
Here are some pics from the work today.
