Looks like a fun project ahead. I've heard of people drilling out the rivets and filling them. I'm going to keep an eye on this build

Unboxed and checked everything. Man is this some beefy stuff. I would like to comment on hate i see on the boards that supposedly this kit is made in china or some ****. Everything has made in usa on it except for the shocks(mexico) and rear leafs(china). Thought it was neat that they already have shims mounted to the leaf springs.

Also picked up a new cut off wheel and some metal cutting blades for my jig saw. Think im goign to try the jig saw on the front fenders before a cut off tool. Should allow me to be more precise.

When I cut my fenders I tried the saw first and found a cut off wheel is a much smoother cut line just my 2cents good luck cant wait to see the outcome

Yeah i found that out, found out a cut off wheel in a rotary tool gave me the best control. I cut my front passenger fender before work. I decided to leave the top lip to see what i think of it. Not sure if i want to leave it or not but it did keep the fenders rigidness leaving it. It was easy until i got to the lower back part of the fender and got off line some but cant really tell it.

Got my drivers side front done and part of the passenger side rear before my blade broke for some reason. Will finish it all up tomorrow after work and paint the rear fender lip from the paint chipping from the folding.

Yeah its more than thick enough for protection and will save me a ton of money over buying aftermarket.

On a side note i got all the fenders cut and folded today. Going to seal everything up and paint the rear fender edge glass black. Pics to come

Well after taking off the panels to access the rear of the fender i found that my passenger side was missing some sealer near the back which was letting it dirt and grime. So after vacuuming it all out i sealed it up for good. Here is a few pics right after i finished the cut without doing any finishing touches. Finished pics coming tomorrow.

Well got in my new spring plates from diybeadlocks and they were right this time. Took me having to give him a lesson in basic math for him to understand what he had fawked up. I will say they have the worst service as far as turn around and accusing the customer as being a liar to get free plates . Was told they were cut and shipped on the 11th and the UPS labels shows it was printed on the 17th which is the day i sent them an email wanting to know what the hold up was.
