Just picked up this 1997 XJ a couple days ago. Haven't done much yet. A little low on funds at the moment, and I need to fix some issues first. Oil leak, Rear diff issue. Then I will start putting some goodies on it.
Not much progress lately. Been having to fix things here and there. Which is fine. I like to fix things. Mainly been waiting on the ring and pinion.
Just got the ring and pinion today and another goodie. Was supposed to get an overhaul kit with it, but nope :/ rock auto let me down for the first time today.
The rear lift gate struts were out so I replaced those.
Some more goodies waiting to put on...
Does anyone know where I can get a replacement one of these? It looks like trash and I can't have that.
