Default motor swap

Hey guys need some input here. I want to install V-8 in my 2000 grand Cherokee I have access to an LS1 but was wondering what would be the best suited motor to install? I want to do a very classy job on install and try to make it look like motor always belonged there. I would love to hear as many opinions as I can get. Thanks in advance Todd

Those already came with a 4.7 as an option. For the sake of keeping it "classy" and OEM looking, a 4.7 H.O. swap would be relatively easy and effective.

I knew they came with a v-8 option but I had heard they had some problems out of them, has anyone else heard the same?

Coming from a family that has or had five different 4.7 equipped Jeeps and Dodges, I can say with certainty that they're good motors. No complaints.
