i plan on spraying sealer on it before the rhino lining....makes it water proof.

my buddies dad owns a hot rod shop and i have been watching him for years.

its just a glaze of bondo to keep the mj a little smoother....i had to do some patch work. im not filing huge holes with bondo.

thanks for the concern!!

i litterally put my grinder up to the sheet metal 3 times before actually making a cut!!!!

it was actually pretty simple........

patience young grass hopper.

i have done more in the last week than most do in a year bro!!!!!

im working on a zj bumper too. time is a little consumed.
yeah this is coming along VERY fast. the shorter bed looks great, for first time bondo you did a hell of a job. the relocation of the gas fill thing looks factory. IMO it looks exactly like a 2 door xj chopped and not so much a manchee anymore though. alright sorry for rambling i wanted to say awesome build and i can't wait to see how it turns out when its done.

Thing looks sick. Nice to see something bobbed other than a yota..

Do you plan on fitting the rear bumper in the space right behind the wheel well or are you trimming that lower piece off? Hard to explain what im tryin to ask..

And now after seeing your pictures I understand what your doin with the bondo..not filling..but kind of finishing..

yeah the bumper is gonna wrap around to the wells...cutting the rest of the bottom off.

and yes i am just puting a smoother finish on some rough parts of the mj..........its getting rhinoed but i just want it as straight as poss before i go bash it off rocks!!
