Thank you, but I like the full flares on it. However POPO needs to tack in some stops for the front wheels because I keep rubbing the front right tire at full lock on the "control arm" (or whatever those things that are 4 link ish) in the front

Bump stops wouldn't help if you were rubbing on the control arms. Bumps stops would limit the flex keeping the tires from smashing into your fenders. If you're rubbing on the control arms, you need rims with less backspacing to fix the problem. Rims with 4" of backspacing should correct the problem. Also, it looks pretty sweet when the wheels stick out a little bit past the fender flares. But if you like your rims, you could just get wheel spacers. I wouldn't recommend them, but since your not beating the crap of it offroad, it should be okay.

Ok, I asked POPO. He does not mean bump stops he means steering stops that he would tack on to the control arm?? I think.

Steering stops would go on the front axle. If you are scraping the tires on the control arm, just don't crank the wheel so hard. You will get used to it. Mine hit for years and when they did I just backed off a little.

thats what he told me to do, but I think he thinks I will chew up the tires. so if he puts the stops in, I wont be able to.

oh yeah, forgot to say that POPO also got some pinstriping (like 1/2" wide) and ran it on the top edge of the bedlinered section. It looks good and he said it should help with the edge of the bedliner taking a beating

I never chewed up my tires, even though they have heavy lugs for mud. This really shouldn't be an issue. You sound like you can handle it.

yes, 3" spacers in the front, and add a leafs in the rear with new stock leaf packs because mine were sagging.

WHY do you ask?

haha, ok I will let him know. He said something about when I rub in reverse the tires are catching the sharp edge of the stamped steal rather than forward they are catching the curved edge.

Tell POPO to just unscrew the steering stops on the knuckle and add a few washers behind and reinstall. That will space the stop out to where you wont rub on the control arms.
