Time for a little catch up. After dragging *** all over Moab due to my rear leaves failing, I got the bright idea too add a longer shackle to bump the rear end back up. Mixed results, yes it leveled the Jeep back out but it put the shackle at a horrible 90 degree angle. Nothing like feeling every bump right up your ***!
Solution. Rough country shackle relocation brackets, they put the shackles back at a 45 degree angle, better ride & feels better in the corners.

Not sure if you can tell from the pics, but the drivers side leaf is done for and the passenger side is quickly catching up, I need to find my friggen reciept and try to get the suckers warranteed.

Found myself in a position to take the day off today and decided to spend a little quality time with the XJ. Picked a set of Brown Dog motor mounts up from a friend (thanks for holding on to them for me Josh, you rock).
I've owned and wheeled the beast for just about 2 1/2 years now and have replaced the OEM motor mounts twice. Hopefully these will make it so I'm done with that BS for a while!

Since I love the fact that my XJ is for the most part, pretty clean still, I also decided to repair the left rear quarter that had a run in with a rude rock in Moab. Hoping to keep rust down as well as keep her looking good. Eventually I'll add some armor to the rear quarters as they seem to be pretty vulnerable when wheeling a full body XJ.
Got her about 90% done, humidity and my lack of patience for body work left a little more to do, but that will be saved for another day, looks better N it did.

Ha ha, they were on there way out way before Cliffhanger but I'm sure that didn't help em any. And no, no smoke being blown, they make a world of difference!
I just need to figure out what the F I did with my reciept for the lift as Skyjacker has a lifetime warranty for everything but bushings and my springs have definately failed, its definately a warranty situation but they do insist on a reciept. Trying to get a hold of the middle man site now as we speak.

After talking to dude at four wheel online I now have copy of my reciept for the lift. Now I gotta do battle with Skyjacker. Their policy is, have em checked out by an authorized dealer for warranty consideration, that should be easy, the main leaves have obviousely collapsed, and if deemed worthy send em back for replacement. I drive it everyday, so down time is not an option. Yeah, so send em back and wait aint gonna work for me. Tried calling Skyjacker, they're closed, have to pick it back up on Monday. I'm gonne be a thorn, just over two years and the main leaf is collapsing, thats definately a material defect.

Bummer man, I'd imagine an authorised skyjacker dealer (4wp, jack it) will work with you to get em shipped in for a same day swap.

Thats the angle I'm gonna work. One way or another I'll get some new springs. The only thing thats not lifetime is bushings, and my bushings are fine. The issue is the spring itself. Check this pic, its taken from the pass. side, the spring in question is the drivers side. That suckers just plain failed, no reason they should'nt make good.

Ghetto fab rear bumpstop extensions, hopefully they'll help me to not torture my next set of leaves!

Default Screw work, lets go goof off!

Can you say "Poser"!
My boy wanted me to take a half day today and go play around, I cave easily to that on nice days, Lol!
I need longer shocks, the current ones are limiting droop too much.
