i bought this slightly parted out 93 sport xj on Craigslist for $400 10/2011 in Colorado springs. it read 183.xxx miles with a blown 4.o engine 3.5 BDS lift ax15 Dana30 front Dana 35 rear abs little body damage on the quarter panels and very little rusted above the muffler, to me it seemed to be a great buy. hauled it home, cleaned it up and started to pull the engine.

 

 

picked up 1990 4.o completely rebuilt on cl for $300 but it was painted lime green! hated the green so it got a new paint job while its out of the jeep

 

after the engine swap i didn't have an air filter or box so i went to pepboys and built a spectre air intake and got a thrush exhaust muffler

i had a broken tcase bolt and missing spacer. got that done and made a write up on it .

pulled the wheel flares off and wheel wells, removed fenders for the bumper cut. got few cans of under body paint that sound deadened and somewhat rubber coated

 

Got a good deal on some 31/10.5 Bfgoodrich a/t on 15" black steel d windows.

Been building this bumper for some time now, three bolt backbone painted flat black. I like it alot needing front tow recovery soon...

Front sound bar that I gotta move towards the rear an inch or two but sounds good, can't wait till spring time to remove the doors.

 

That's a good idea... I might just have to do that.
