I know how this feels, this past weekend my exhaust broke after a "little" climb so we ripped off everything from the cat back

alright a little update on everything. the jeep is running great again so im going to be getting around to the lift and paint. ive always loved the desert tan and black paint scheme but i guess theres a decent number of people who have desert tan so im going with this. its Sand as opposed to the khaki.

Can anyone recommend a good primer to use? I've found outdoor primers ranging from .99 a can to $10 a can and I don't know what's better. I'm going with the flat paint as instead of gloss so it doesn't need to be anything special, just needs to hold up.

Seems like a waste to paint when your paint is in such good shape

Unfortunately the pictures are deceiving. The paints pretty scratched up and messed up with a little clear coat beginning to peel, an the PO tried some patch job on the roof that's like 3 different colors of blue and looks stupid

Also now that I've got a decent amount of cash up here are the current plans for the next month or so. 4.5" lift,( still trying to decide between rusty's and zone) sye, 33's, swapping in an 8.25 to replace the D35c, new paint, and pulling out the old smelly as hell carpet and herculining the interior.

Scratches add character! You should do something unique like yellow or glow and the dark green. Tis would look real sweet!

I wanted to originally but I'm not a skilled painter so unless I go with something flat it will probably look like absolute s***! Hahahha

okay if anyone is viewing this build thread at all i need your opinion on my next move. ( this is basically my weekend warrior but it goes wheeling much more than that)

Choice A) Put in the 4.5" kit this month and run 33's on my d35 till summer then swap the axle and move up to 35's then re-gear towards the end of summer.

Choice B) Wait till June 14, Swap the d35 for the 8.25, put the 4.5" kit in and get the 35's on right away and re-gear at pretty much the same time.

Choice C) Do the axle swap in June, but stick with 33's

in my opinion id like to avoid spending all that extra cash on the 33's if im going to go with 35's but im still stuck on what to do. A guy who lives near me has a 8.25 all ready to bolt in and hes giving it to me for $100.
