I was woundering is it possible to make an Jeep Comanche out of a 2 door Jeep Cherokee? Ive seen people on here cut the back top off, but it would have a really short bed. Would it be possible to add onto the frame and buy like a 92 dodge dokota bed? They had the same closeness. My 2nd idea was buy a dodge dakota and turn it into a Comanche but looking at one, it looks alittle wide for the fender and header/grille to fit. It would be nice making a extended cab comanche. Now this is not offical as I own a newer truck but wanting a Jeep truck.

Hate to say it bud but the MJs are more different from cherokees than people think. Would be very hard to do and almost impossible to do it safely without deep pockets. Just sell the 2 door and find a MJ. And dont let floor pan rust scare you away. My MJ has no drivers side floor but the rest is rust free. Heck really the biggest thing is make sure it has all the parts. But even a beat up one like mine is fine. Just a little more work. Good luck!

Expand your search to bordering states. You'll find one. Definitely easier than this frankenjeep idea.
