Well got a new XJ a few weeks ago. 96 with 184k, 3inch procrap lift on 33's. Named her Martha. I had a 99 for a few years (Bertha), but I ripped the unibody in multiple spots very badly, and ruined the tranny. Her parts will be sacrificed to Martha, along with some parts from a 92 XJ that I got for free. Only crawling or safety upgrades will be had. No roof racks or **** like that. Plans for this summer are
-swap over Dana 30 and Chry 8.25 from 99
-swap over Serious Steering, Durango box, inner and outer steering box braces, Rubicon Express Tracbar
-35s
-gonna weld the spider gears in the 8.25.
-swap the manual windows from my free jeep, so removable doors will be easier
-swap over my old speakers
-rear cut and fold, front inner fender trimming
-cutout rockers and replace with 2x6
-unibody stiffeners from front bumper to rear bumper
-change lift to 3in front using rc coil and procrap lowers, needa buy uppers, 4-4.5 rear using a basterd pack(stock pack, rubicon express pack, and overload springs)
-rattlecan paint job to spot the surface rust from the crappy paint(black and yellow)
-tranny and power steering coolers
-swap my redtop and starter from 99
-fix anything that breaks, its my DD

So far Ive done
-upgraded injectors from Programbo
-full tune up
-removed entire front fenders for clearance
-bent the stock steering

Hoping to get everything done before I go back to school in the fall. Im moving to San Diego for the summer next week, and leaving the jeep behind. Luckily Ill be making decent money overthere so when I get back Martha should get some more loving. Heres the only pic I have at the moment.
